Women's leadership is an integral force in shaping societies, fostering progress, and ensuring inclusive decision-making. Despite advancements, women continue to face systemic and social barriers to leadership. The Breaking Barriers: Women's Leadership Summit, organized by Shree Digukhya Guthi, seeks to create a dynamic platform for dialogue, empowerment, and collective action to strengthen women's leadership and participation in governance, business, and community development.
For the first time in the history of Shree Digukhya Guthi, the Guthiyars have voted and made 30% females participation in the Executive Board, including the first ever female Vice Chairperson in our Guthi. 

Objectives

 Foster discussions on key challenges and opportunities in women's leadership.
Provide a platform for sharing research, knowledge, and best practices.
 Engage stakeholders in meaningful dialogue to develop actionable solutions.
Facilitate the formation of Misa Puchah, a leadership body composed of seven female memebers.

Event Structure

The summit will unfold in four major parts:

1. Inauguration Session

The event will commence with an inspiring inaugural session featuring keynote addresses from Guthi leadership, distinguished leaders, policymakers, and advocates. This session will set the tone for the discussions, emphasizing the significance of women's leadership in diverse sectors.

2. Paper Presentations

Researchers, activists, and professionals will present papers analyzing barriers to women's leadership and strategies to overcome them. Topics may include gender equity, political representation, economic empowerment, and social inclusion.

3. Panel Discussion

A moderated dialogue featuring expert panelists from various fields—business, politics, academia, and civil society—will delve into leadership experiences, challenges, and strategies for overcoming gender-based obstacles.
Women have to manage their household, their families also their profession and in the remaining time also contribute to the community, society and guthi. How do you manage your responsibilities/time. What drives us to contribute for community development

4. Nominations Filing & Misa Puchah Formation

• Candidates will file nominations for the Misa Puchah, a leadership body comprising seven members.
• Each candidate will present a 3-minute speech, outlining their vision for women's leadership.
• Selection or election will be conducted to finalize the members of Misa Puchah.
