Introduction & Vision
True community growth relies on enriching the minds of our younger generations and professionals. Guided by our shared commitment to community welfare, Shree Digukhya Guthi is proud to establish the Shree Digukhya Guthi Scholarship Fund.
This noble initiative is created entirely from the generous contributions of our own Guthiyars across our historic 26 Kawahs. By pooling our resources, we ensure that financial constraints never stand in the way of academic excellence, traditional preservation, and professional progress.
Scholarship Categories
To address diverse academic and professional needs, the fund distributes support across three core categories:
Higher Studies in Heritage & Culture
(Open to All Members)
Supporting higher education (Undergraduate/Postgraduate) for any Guthiyar pursuing studies strictly dedicated to Nepalbhasa or Buddhism. This ensures our rich language, scripture, and core values continue to thrive.
Grades 11 & 12 Academic Scholarship
(Merit-Based)
Providing comprehensive annual scholarships to one male student and one female student from our community entering Grades 11 and 12, promoting gender equality and foundation-level academic growth.
Career Enhancement & Skill Development
(Need-Based)
Providing financial assistance to Guthiyars who require specific professional training or certifications to further their careers. These requests are supported on a flexible, need-by-need basis following verification by the Jyasana Puchah.

Academic Merit & Selection
The initial selection across all categories is strictly merit-based, evaluating past educational excellence and dedication.
Performance Maintenance Clause
To ensure continuity of financial aid, recipients must consistently maintain an agreed academic grade or GPA standard each term/year. Failure to hold these performance benchmarks will result in a suspension of the scholarship.
